Point 65'N is a Chinese made brand offering a range of well priced Polyethylene (plastic) and Composite (fibreglass) expedition sea kayaks and touring kayaks. With the famous kayaker, Nigel Foster, on their design team it is not diffiuclt to understand how they come up with some great designs.
While we have categorised most of the Point 65'N poly kayaks into our Quality range they have also developed a Budget modular kayak suitable for people on a tight budget, the Martini Tandem Kayak.

The Point 65'N Martini is a modular Sit in kayak that can be converted into a single kayak or a double kayak.
The double consists of three pieces which can be easily stored and transported where the vehicle dose not have roofracks.
Although quite heavy when assembled, it is fairly easy to carry in three pieces.
As kayak specialists we must point out that the Martini Tandem is a novelty kayak. The benefit you get is being able to convert this kayak from double to single and ease of transport and storage.
If you are looking for lightweight or on water performance then we have several other kayaks that would be more suitable.
Please note that we have had some problems with the clips that hold the pods together.
We suggest that this kayak be paddled on flat water only, no more than 100m from the shore, and paddlers should be wearing a PFD at all times.
