C-Kayak Australia started off as a kayak tour business called Southern Adventures. Southern Adventures was established in 2001 by two individuals
whose love for the sport necessitated the transition from recreational
hobby to full-time guided tours business.
From humble beginnings Southern Adventures, in a relatively short
period of time, built up a reputation for delivering outstanding
customer service and real value for money.
In 2003 the owners of Southern Adventures, in response to customer demand,
opened up the retail side of the business, C-Kayak Australia Pty Ltd, and were now able to offer the same
expert advice, quality service and value for money whether you were
wanting to tour, hire or purchase your own kayak.
The retail side of the business grew and within a few years had to be relocated from Ettalong to bigger premises in West Gosford where it currently resides, easily accessible to Central Coast locals as well as people travelling from Newcastle or Sydney.
In 2007, after taking more than 300 tours and around 4500 happy tour customers, the tour business was sold to Ocean Planet so that the C-Kayak could focus purely on servicing their retail customers.
The result is C-Kayak Australia as it stands today, a 100% focused kayak retail specialist store, bringing you the best range of quality kayaks at the best possible prices.
