The kayaks have been listed in order of length. A longer kayak is normally faster and more efficient than a shorter kayak of equal width, this is because of the extended water-line. A short, stout kayak will be more stable but not as fast. Other factors to take into consideration are width, hull shape, rocker etc. Our qualified staff will be able to assist you with any questions.

Barracuda Beachcomber Ultralight (4.9m) - Thermoformed  - The Beachcomber is our overall best selling sea kayak. Made of thermoformed ABS plastic the Beachcomber offers the strength of plastic but the smoothness of glass and the lightness of carbon. With kayak weight being such an important factor (lifting the kayak onto your vehicle, carrying it down to the beach etc.) It is no wonder that this is such a popular kayak.

Boasting all the features and quality of a $4 000 composite this kayak comes in at an unbelievable price - no wonder it is our best selling composite. Hurricane Tracer (5m) - Thermoformed - The Tracer is made of thermoformed Trylon plastic offering the strength of plastic but the smoothness of glass and the lightness of carbon. If you didn't know better you think that it was made of fibreglass at a glance but as soon as you crash into your first rock you'll know and be thankful that it's plastic.
D.A.G. Miwok (5m) - 3-layer Polyethylene  - Big brother to the Tiwok, the Miwok is our best selling polyethylene 5m sea kayak. Offering the same features and performance as other more expensive 5m plastic sea kayaks it is no wonder that the Miwok is a best seller. The Miwok has a relatively tight cockpit and is not normally suitable for larger paddlers over 95kg.
Riot Brittany (5.03m) - Polyethylene  - The Riot Brittany as per its names sake is an award winning British design. Lean and fast with a snug fit the Brittany is best suited for smaller paddlers (under 85kg) with some previous paddling experience.
