What's New :: Exciting new Kayaks and Accessories

New Clothing and Accessories

We have recently renovated our Kayak Warehouse in West Gosford.

Our "no frills" look has now given way to a more attractive presentation, although we can assure you that our prices remain the best in the trade. Our value pledge remains as follows:
"We work hard to bring you the best brands at the best prices, find a better price on any stocked item and we will better it by 5%"

With the added space we have managed to increase our range of accessories, including some hot new innovations. Please find below some of the exciting new gear and accessories that we have to offer:

Our New Look Accessories

LiquidLife Nylon spray skirt

spray skirt
Not everyone can 'eskimo' roll and not everyone feels comfortable wearing a tight-fitting full neoprene spray skirt. We now carry a range of skirts including nylon, neoprene and some composites. The nylon spray skirt offers a light, comfortable, relatively cool splash proof cover to keep you dry in rain or spray.

This skirt sells for $110.

Solution Flexi-Fit Spray skirt

spray skirt The only down side of a perfectly fitting spray skirt is that it will no longer fit if you happen to lose or gain a lot of weight and if you plan to lend it to one of your friends who happens to be larger or smaller than you in the waistline then you'll discover that it might not fit them as well as it fits you. The Flexi-Fit system uses velcro to allow you to adjust the waist size to suit the girth of the paddler.

This skirt sells for $140.

Eckla Wall Rack

wall racks We have always stocked and continue to stock the Aquaracks wall mounting system, due to the request of some customers for a cheaper solution, we have introduced into our store the Eckla wall mounting system. The kit comes with rubber padded kayak brackets, plus a seperate area for your paddle and all mounting accessories.

This wall rack costs $90.

Uveto Kool Tie

kayak gear Designed with the wearer in mind, UVeto's Kool Tie is made from Australian Micromesh fabric with Polymer Crystals inside, activated by water this tie will keep you cool for hours. Also suitable for bushwalking.

This Kool Tie sells for just $13.

Uveto Waist Belt

kayak gear Designed in Australia, UVeto's Waist Belt is an effective way of keeping you refreshed and hydrated. Including various pouches and pockets it is also useful for carrying money etc.

This Waist Belt sells for just $24.

Kayak Dash Board

kayak accessories This Dagger innovation allows the paddler to reduce the size of the cockpit, thus minimising the amount of water that can get into the kayak. The Dash Board also serves as a platform for fishermen to organise their gear, cut bait etc.

This Dash Board is available in a variety of sizes to fit different kayaks' cockpits. It will cost you $55, but we're happy to charge just $29 if it is bought in conjunction with a kayak.

Solution Cag & Pants

kayak gear Made of waterproof, breatheable double layer fabric these cags and pants are comfortable and thin, ideal for the relatively mild Australian winter. They have neoprene adjustable neck, wrists, waist and ankles and both cag and pants have a zip compartment for keeping things safe.

This cag sells for $150 and the Pants $110.

Liquidlife Gloves

kayak gear The Liquidlife Gloves are strong with high-grip rubberised outer material so that you don't lose your grip on your paddle.

The gloves sell for just $39 per pair.

Solution Toastie Shirt & Pants

kayak gear These garments are made of extra thin chloroprene rubber with titanium coating. They have NSI treated inners and a durable water repellant nylon wear layer. Snug fitting and cosy these are ideal for the cooler months of the year. The tops are available in both long and short sleeve.

The pants sell for $79, the short sleeve tops for $119 and the long sleeve tops for $139.

Crack-of-Dawn Deluxe Backrest

kayak accessories There are backrests and there are backrests! This is simply the best backrest available on the Australian market today, the Crack of Dawn backrest offers high solid support and even includes an add-on pouch with two built in rod holders for the keen fisherman.

At $199 this is not a cheap backrest, but then again, how much value can you put on your comfort and maintaining a healthy back?

Loadmaster Removable Roofracks

roof racks One of the challenges facing many of our customers is how to get the kayaks home. While we do stock a range of permanent roofracks, not everyone wants to spend that kind of money and some people prefer not to add roofracks to the car if it is company owned etc. For some time now we have had in stock the Handirack inflatable roofracks, which have been very successful.

Now we have yet another option on offer in the form of the rubber Loadmaster, which doesn't require inflating, simply whip it out of your boot, strap it to the roof and then strap on the kayaks.

The Loadmaster sells for just $189 per pair.

Wooden Canoe Paddles

canoe paddles We managed to pick up a load of these beautifully finished wooden paddles for a good price so now we're happy to pass on this savings to you. The paddles come in three sizes and are ideal for canoeing.

Price $49 each (only while stocks last)

Lockable Tiedowns

kayak accessories If you're worried about your kayak being 'knocked off' while you're out shopping after your morning paddle then these are excellent. They serve as a double purpose in that they secure your kayaks for the trip home but are also strengthened with double steel cables to prevent opportunist thieves from cutting it off your roofracks. The tiedowns come with a set of keys.

At $89 these are not cheap but then it's a lot better than losing your thousand dollar/s + kayak. I can tell you that we use them.

Ruffwear Doggie PFD

kayak gear You might be surprised at how many people choose a kayak based on whether or not it will accommodate their dog (or dogs). It is perhaps not surprising then that many people like to ensure that their dog is safe in the event of a capsize (or perhaps the dog spots a fish and jumps overboard).

The prices are as follows: Small $117, Medium $129, Large $149.

Solution Mobile Phone Bag

kayak accessories Through the years we have tried out a number of different brands of mobile phone holder but these seem to be the best we've had in terms of water tightness and durability. Two types are available, the compact phone bag and the floating phone bag, each a nice bright orange so that they can be spotted in case you drop them into the water.

The compact phone bag sells for just $19 while the floating one sells for just $25.

Hubby Footpump

kayak accessories Unless you are wearing a spray skirt it is likely that you will get some water into the kayak. The down side of electronic bilge pumps is that they are subject to frequent breakage and you have to cart around a heavy battery. The Hubby Foot Pump allows your kayak to continually have the water pumped out of the cockpit using the pressure of your feet against the pedals as you paddle. Once correctly installed it is absolutly effortless to keep your kayak free of any water.

For more information on the Hubby Foot Pump check out this website : Hubby Foot Pump.
The Hubby Foot Pump costs $99 (please note that these are imported and we currently only have limited stock)

Prijon Carbon Fibre Touring Paddle

kayak paddle You cannot go wrong with Prijon as a brand. These Carbon Touring Paddles are light and tough as nails.

The Prijon Carbon Paddle sells for $343. Our introductory price is just $291 (limited stock)

These are just some of the interesting and useful kayak accessories that we now carry in stock. Pop in to our shop to check out our full range of accessories or give us a call if you are looking for something in particular.

We look forward to seeing you (again)
